A: Anything from The Big Boot, unexplained phenomena, cryptids, urban legends, and any other unsettling strangeness.

Q: Are these stories real or are they fictional?

A: I try to document true reports and local folklore. I encourage a healthy skepticism, but my aim is to collect and archive Edmonton's strangest truths and tales. You decide what you believe.

Q: Do you provide sources?

A: Yes, I provide a list of sources for you to reference at the bottom of every article.

Q: How do you verify a "weird" sighting or story?

A: Verifying can be a tricky thing. I typically try to go to the location, investigate and take photos. I also do a load of research, reading historical documents and photos.

Q: Can I submit my own weird experience/story/sighting?

A: For sure! I encourage reader submissions. Please visit my contact page for guidelines on how to share your tale. Include as much detail as possible please!

Q: Do you cover historical weirdness, or just recent events?

A: Both! Edmonton is an ever changing city and I try to catalogue that the best I can.
